Richard Murphy Architects' innovative design vision for Trinity Gardens has been turned into a reality thanks to Comprehensive Design Architects, and with the interiors designed by Conran & Partners, the creative collaboration reflects the combined talents of all the teams involved.
Embracing the past
The Architects and Designers have worked together to establish a design that adds to the character of the local area and they have created a genuinely eye-catching development in a truly unique setting.
Built on the site where two large Victorian houses once stood, the former Trinity College, the development makes the most of the mature landscape by retaining the tree-lined gardens that once surrounded the College.
From the outset the architectural strategy was to enhance and extend this landscape and design a scheme that allowed the apartment residents to discover the beauty of the once hidden garden.
A view to the future
Some of the upper level apartments benefit from panoramic views of the city skyline and many of the topmost penthouses have extensive private terraces and balconies. The development's innovative ‘star' shaped plans maximise the amount of windows providing beautiful views from every room and allowing the apartments to be flooded with light. And because the focus has been on retaining the beauty of the parkland setting, resident car parking has been placed underground, ensuring the gardens remain unspoiled.
